Youth Classes
Age Requirements
Ages 7 to 17 years old may be trained under the guidance of the coaching staff if the youth has registered with USA Boxing
Due to USA Boxing Rules, youth under 7 years old cannot register for USA Boxing membership, so they cannot enter the ring. However, youth under the age of 7 can watch and learn from the older trainees and can be mentored by the coaching staff. Admittance into the training program will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
For trainees already in the boxing program, who entered the boxing program under the age of 17 but now are 18 years or older, they can continue to train with Team Ingram, but they must pay a $75 per month membership fee. If the trainee wishes to become part of Lamont Ingram’s Hub City Boxing Promotions, a contract can be drafted to bring the trainee on board. Trainee assumes all costs associated with signing as a boxer with Lamont Ingram’s Hub City Boxing Promotions.
Times
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM
Fees
Free to youth ages 7 to 17 years old
Note to Parents & Guardians
While the gym fees are free for trainees between the ages of 7 and 17, it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t cost our organization money to operate. Please think of providing small items to help with the practice sessions. We are in need of …..
Snacks for practice (e.g. fruit, granola, water, sports drinks)
Hand Sanitizer
Sanitizing Spray (Lysol) Paper Towels
If you would like to sponsor a field trip (e.g. movies, zoo, museum, park) as a reward for the hard work the youth are putting in, please contact the main office by calling (731) 736 – 1109 or emailing secondchance731@gmail.com by your name and details of your planned outing. Head Coach Ingram will review the proposal and then send his decision back to you.
Workout schedules will be posted daily when boxers arrive
Gym is closed on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
